Key Projects
Professional work (not publicly linkable)
Delivered at JPMorganChase. These systems are internal, so there is nothing to link to — the outcomes are stated as precisely as I am able to state them.
Upgrades and Repaves Automation
Collaborated with developers to design, develop, test and release a new service that automated technology lifecycle management. Reduced risk via automation covering control requirements, rolling out three major software upgrades to ~3000 database servers. Used feature flags and circuit breakers based on DevOps practices.
Unused Infrastructure Remediation
Conducted data analysis to find databases not in use. Managed the project including customer communication. Decommissioned 225 servers saving internal customers $1.8m/yr, freeing up scarce compute capacity and reducing toil and risk. Presented to peer developers, product owners, and business management.
Application Replacement
Replaced a legacy Java private-cloud application with Python AWS serverless architecture. Led progress review calls with stakeholders to escalate blockers and agree architectural decisions. Trained both first-year apprentices and experienced senior Java developers in AWS topics ranging from IAM to IaC/application deployment.
Apprentice Technology Training
Co-delivered with fellow apprentices a course of eight hour-long training sessions on enterprise technology to new first-year apprentices. Tailored the course based on suggestions and answered questions on topics from authentication to private cloud infrastructure to CI/CD. Identified an apprentice lacking support and assisted through one-on-one coaching.
Built and deployed on this domain
Small applications I run myself. Each says plainly what I built versus what came from a template — a demo rehosted unchanged is worth showing, but only if it is labelled as one.
Application registry
An index of everything running under this domain, with per-application health checks and a support tier for each.
Mine: the registry, the health-check polling, and the support-tier model. Built from scratch.
Link redirector
A short-link service for external references that tend to rot, so a dead upstream URL can be repointed in one place rather than across every page.
Mine: the whole thing — routing, the link registry, and the redirect handling.
Azure deployment
A second-cloud deployment, kept deliberately so the estate is not entirely dependent on one provider and so the differences stay familiar.
Mine: the deployment, DNS and pipeline. The application itself is a minimal sample.
Connection globe
A globe showing where current visitors are connecting from, over a WebSocket backed by a Durable Object.
Not mine: this is Cloudflare's PartyServer and Cobe demo, deployed essentially unchanged. It is here as an example of running Durable Objects, not as original work.
